It may be the start of winter and getting colder and darker in the UK but that’s excellent news for those of us who love to ski! After all, there’s no better time to catch the amazing early season snow! And, this year, what’s even better is that we’ve got unprecedented snow depths.
With so much to think about when deciding on where to take your ski holiday, it is important to consider those hidden gems and small ski resorts that are often over looked. We’re pleased to share with you some of our favourite resorts across the world which have somehow managed to stay off the beaten track. We don’t want you to miss out on a holiday that may suit you and your party to a T and save you those extra pennies. Although the resorts may not be the biggest or most well-known, they all have incredible reputations and are often renowned for their peaceful settings.
For family friendly holidays, particularly at such times as February half term, resorts that offer good beginner skiing are crucial in order to give the inexperienced family members a chance to get to grips with the sport, whilst the more advanced party members can venture off and tackle the trickier black runs.
Ski enthusiasts will know that there’s nothing more relaxing than spending time on the slopes. Choose a quiet day, and all you can hear is the zipping of your skis on the snow, as you look out over spectacular mountain view. It’s no surprise then to hear that many resorts are now offering snow yoga, otherwise known as snowga, to visitors who want to relax, warm up their muscles, and increase their flexibility, all while enjoying the great outdoors.
