Not only is Utah the location of 14 Alpine resorts, it is also home to the greatest snow on earth! Located on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains, Utah’s 14 resorts receive over 500 inches (or 13 metres) of desert dry snow.

What’s more, Utah now has direct flights from the UK! The new non- stop flights are available with Delta from London Heathrow, Paris and Amsterdam, and fly into Salt Lake International Airport. The only further journey time required is a quick 45-minute transfer to your hotel.

Exciting news!

One of the best things about Utah is that you can ski in a different resort every day if you wish (not that you’ll get bored in any of the fantastic resorts!). And, although all the resorts are fairly close to one another, each one has a unique character. Take a look at the abundant opportunities Utah has to offer:

Discover the Wild West

You’ll discover that great Wild West feel in Utah with lots of cowboys, great activities, lots of snow and towns dating back to the Silver mining era.

Ski in sunshine

What’s more, Utah receives over 300 days of sunshine a year (that’s seemingly unbelievable with the current winter weather in the UK at the moment, right?). There really is nothing better than waking up to a fresh blanket of snow and not a cloud in the sky.

Abundant activities

As well as absolutely fantastic skiing opportunities, Utah offers an abundance of activities for your enjoyment.

Whether you choose to soak in geothermal natural hot-springs, snowshoe under the stars, take part in a snowmobile wildlife tour, visit the Midway ice-castles, shop at the Tanger outlet stores, have a wild west ski day at Robert Redford’s Sundance Resort, participate in a chocolate tour on the old-fashioned Heber Creeper Steam train, take part in scuba-diving at the 65 ft. deep crater or visit the whisky distilleries (phew!), you’ll find an activity that suits you on a ski holiday in Utah.

What’s more, there are plenty of brew pubs and restaurants for all budgets and tastes.
