Well-known for being home to The Espace Killy area, as well as loved for its varied terrain and high-quality snow, nobody can fault the skiing opportunities in Val d’Isere. Because Courcheval 1850 is one of the highest villages in the Alps, it is of course, home to amazing early season snow, and is a popular resort for early season skiers and snowboarders alike.
An expensive area that is a real hot-spot for the rich and famous, Courcheval will please beginners and intermediates with its ski slopes around the village. And, of course, the Three Valleys lift pass will suit the more advanced skiers out there.
Another resort that is located high up in the mountains, Ischgl is a popular resort that is often referred to as the Austrian equivalent of Courcheval 1850 and is home to great early season snow.

La Rosiere features one spacious ski slope (that offers great fun for the early season!) and is connected to La Thuile in Italy.
