Chalet Isabelle is a superb free-standing chalet in a fantastic location in Tignes Le Lavachet, only 30m from the piste and the Paquis and Chaudanne ski lifts. The chalet has a hot tub to ease muscles after a hard day on the mountain. The chalet is in an ideal situation for quick and easy access to the large ski area. Several bars and restaurants are only a short walk away from enjoying an après-ski drink or venturing out after dinner. A shuttle bus stops virtually outside the door, taking you to Tignes Le Lac throughout the day and night in high season.
The chalet is built in a traditional and attractive wood and stone style. Making the most of the views on the top floor are the comfortable living and dining areas, with picture windows and high ceilings. Leading off this area is a large southwest-facing balcony, ideal for catching the sun disappearing over the mountains. The bedrooms are located on the lower floor and all have en suite showers or bathrooms, some have balconies.
Location
In seconds, you can leave the chalet and ski down to either the Chaudanne or Paquis chairlifts. There is a bus stop, just outside the chalet where you can get a ski bus to the bus station and then onward to Val Claret or even Les Boisses. To return to the chalet on skis or board, you can ski back to within 30m of the chalet.
Chalet Isabelle is situated in the Lavachet quarter of Tignes, which is populated with lots of chalets. There are various restaurants, cafés, shops and supermarkets all a short walk away. On the map below look for its sister chalet Camille.
