Hotel Cristallo, Sestriere

The Hotel Cristallo's excellent position at the foot of the pistes and the spacious public areas makes it very popular. This prime location means quick access to both the centre of town where there's over 100 shops, bars and restaurants and direct access to the impressive 400 kilometre ski area of the famous Milky Way.

This is a modern hotel that's perfect for skiers wanting to be in the middle of it all with everything on your doorstep, as well as a hotel which will well and truly have everything you need. You'll get a welcome drink on arrival and you can enjoy a few more at the hotel's well stocked bar. Between 4-6pm the hotel offers free afternoon tea and biscuits, a great little snack to keep you going until dinner. Evening meals are taken in the Cristallo Di Neve restaurant. There's a mix of national and international dishes, with most of the indigence sourced locally. As much thought and effort goes into the presentation as it does in coming up with the delicious dishes on offer.

If skiing wasn't enough to get your daily exercise quota, you can hit the hotel's gym with a few bits to keep you busy. We prefer the small spa though, chilling in the jacuzzi, cleansing in the Turkish bath or just sprawled out in the relaxation area - all included in the cost. Massages and beauty treatments are also available at an additional local cost payable locally.

Meals

Dine every day in the hotel's restaurant and enjoy national and international recipes. Each morning you will have a buffet breakfast. Evening meals are three courses with a choice including a salad, vegetable and dessert buffets. The head chef and his team take great pride when cooking and serving the food artistically on the plate.

Standard Twin Rooms sleep up to four people (extra beds are singles) and have a bath or shower, TV, safe and hair dryer. You can pay to upgrade to have a mountain view – please ask at time of booking.

Single Rooms are also available at no supplement.
