Hotel Banchetta, Sestriere

The recent refurbishment at Hotel Banchetta brings it to life with lovely wooden rafters in the public areas and plenty of natural light entering the space. The hotel's been family-run since 1930s and they've created a lovely warm and cosy hotel to enjoy.

Situated in the centre of Borgata, a small village four kilometres from the main resort of Sestriere, its perfect if you are looking for a more relaxed ski holiday not centered around a busy resort. The best thing about the location is that you won't have to queue to get on the lifts in the morning. Beat the crowds and be one of the first on the mountain. The nearest lift is just 300 meters away and if you do want to head to Sestriere, it’s just one lift away. You can ski right back to the hotel along one of the paths from the main slopes at the end of each day, so it's very convenient.

The Banchetta offers warm and friendly service, especially at meal times. Breakfast is buffet style, which means there's no waiting about if you're keen to get explore the Milky Way. The four-course evening meal will help build your energy levels back up but don't forget to visit the bar. It's a great place to relax and chat to other guests about your day on the mountain. If you're lucky enough to have good weather, you can sit out on the terrace and soak up the sunshine. For a treat, make sure you use the small spa facilities (payable locally).

Meals

Enjoy in a buffet breakfast and a four course evening meal with choice of menu. You will also be treated to a candle lit dinner once during your stay. You can pay locally to upgrade to a la carte menu.

Standard Twin Rooms sleep two people and have a shower, TV, hair dryer (if requested) and a mountain view. Some rooms can sleep up to 3 people, please ask at time of booking. WiFi is available at an additional local cost of approx. €1 per day.
