Hotel Oswald

Oswald Grand Hotel dates back to 1986 and remains one of Selva di Val Gardena’s most historic and prestigious hotels, known for its elegant alpine interiors and gourmet-style restaurant, just a short stroll from the lifts.

A major renovation is underway and will be available for Winter 2025/26 season, bringing a host of exciting new wellness features. These include an Infinity Sky Pool, Rooftop Sky Spa, panoramic whirlpool bath, fully equipped gym, and a Family Spa with a dedicated children’s pool, perfect for both relaxation and family fun.

Location

The Ciampinoi gondola is only 350 metres from the door and there's a free shuttle to get you there in the morning. Additionally, the bus stop is nearby so you can easily make your way between the different areas of the Val Gardena.

400 metres uphill walk to ski school and nursery slope. If you’re new to skiing, the resort has a fantastic dedicated beginner area. To reach it, simply take the resort bus to the Dantercepies lift, then ski down to the ski school meeting point. Walking is also an option, though it’s uphill all the way from the hotel.

Meals

Start your day with a buffet breakfast in the panoramic dining room. Choose between pastries, cakes, local bread from the bakery, homemade jams, yogurts,  meats and cheeses, and freshly prepared egg dishes

Complimentary tea and cake is served every day between 3pm and 5pm

You'll get a choice of four courses for dinner with local and international dishes available. There's a weekly Tyrolean dinner and a great wine list to complement your meal

There is an excellent wine menu too, be sure to ask the staff for their recommendation.

Comfort twin rooms are around 30m² and sleep up to 4 people (extra bed is a double sofa bed). All rooms are have modern decor mixed with wood-paneling and classic amenities, with bath or shower, balcony, hairdryer, TV, and safe.

Comfort single rooms are around 21m² and sleep 1 person.
