The Chaberton Lodge & Spa, Sauze D'Oulx

Located near the centre of Sauze d'Oulx, The Chaberton Lodge & Spa, previously known as the Grand Hotel Besson, offers good quality accommodation due to a complete refurbishment in 2019 with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valley. As you walk into the hotel you are met by a warm open space with magnificent wooden rafters and natural looking stone walls. Directly in front of you, you will find the reception area, to your left the stretches the restaurant and to your right, the lounge and bar area with inviting comfortable sofas and a lovely fireplace, this is the perfect place to relax each evening and enjoy a drink or two at the bar. All along the front of the building are large windows which allow for good natural light and wonderful views of the area.

The warm furnishings extending to the beautifully decorated rooms. A mixture of light and dark wood and fabrics provide a cosy place to settle down each evening, or if you prefer, you can simply turn on the TV and enjoy taking advantage of the many sky channels on offer.

The hotel operates a free shuttle bus service at set times to get you to and from the lifts, or just a one minute walk away you will find the nearest stop for the local ski bus which circle the resort. If in the evening you want to explore the many bars and restaurants found in resort, you can venture through the picturesque old town which is about an eight minute walk.

You can also take some time for yourself and relax in the hotel's wellness centre where you will find a range of facilities to help with any aches and pains after a great day on the mountain. Open up the pores in the Finnish sauna, steam room or the salt scrub room. Alternatively, just sit back in the pool or the relaxation room and let time quietly go by.

Meals

A continental breakfast is served in the main restaurant daily, including hot options.

The restaurant is a lovely location for dining with wooden beams and stylish stone walls with views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, perfect picture painting like scenery. In the evenings the Chef delivers dishes cooked and prepared with passion, blending modern Italian cuisine with Piedmontese traditions with a foundation of fresh ingredients. Guests will enjoy choices from a fantastic four course menu, succulent starters, fetching first course followed by tempting second course selections but be sure to leave room for dessert with many great choices on offer, combined with a coffee to finish your meal in true Italian fashion.

Classic twin rooms are around 14m² and sleep two people. Rooms have a shower and a lovely garden view. All rooms have a WC, flat screen LCD TV, safe, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities as well as a mini bar with free welcome bottle of water bathrobes and slippers.

Classic twin with mountain view rooms are around 14m² and sleep two people. Rooms have a shower and a great mountain view from the balcony.

Prestige twin rooms are around 14m² and sleep two people. Rooms have a bath with shower overhead.

Deluxe twin rooms are around 20m² and sleep up to three people (third bed is a single sofa bed). Rooms have a bath with shower overhead. As well as water in the minibar you will also receive free beer and an Nespresso coffee machine.
