La Villa

Overview
La Villa is a quiet pretty and unspoilt village situated at the foot of the Sassongher Mountain linking to the Dolomites' famous Sella Ronda ski circuit. Close to San Cassiano, it is one of the main ski villages in the region of Alta Badia and South Tyrol.
La Villa has a grand tradition of welcoming skiers from all over the world, and is known for its first class gastronomy and traditional Ladino mountain culture.
The gondola services the village, and those that don't want to ski back on the home runs ( genuine red and black runs) can return on the gondola. There are lifts and pistes on both sides of the village, and nursery slopes dotted around.
At the centre of the village there is a range of shops, bars and restaurants.
Offslope/apres ski
Quiet apres ski, not for the party animal although there are a few bars and restaurants for a fun night out.
The Chalet Hotel Al Pigher has spacious public areas, superb spa facilities, and stunning views. In resort there is an indoor pool, nordic walking, snowshoe walking, and ice skating on Sompunt Lake
