Chalet Orion, Val Thorens

Chalet Orion is our smallest chalet in Val Thorens and indeed the whole of the Belleville valley. Val Thorens chalets are rarely stand-alone, and even less so are they are ski-in, ski-out.

If it’s a good location you’re after, our Val Thorens Chalets; Pégase, Véga and Orion are all housed in Chalet Alrock, situated on piste, next to the brand new Sports Centre, just below the central Place du Caron. Each is run and catered separately but share the bonus of the sauna on the ground floor.

The chalet gives you direct access to the piste so you just need to clip in, and off you go, either down to the bottom of the magic carpets (for beginners) or down to Les Menuires or to the various chairlifts and gondolas that open up access to all of the Three Valleys and the glacier

Orion is on just one floor, the lower ground floor of Chalet Alrock. The three bedrooms are situated in a corridor off the lounge, each with their own shower room and wc.

Location

Val Thorens, the highest resort in Europe and the highest point of the 3 Valleys area, is the largest ski area in the world with more than 600 km of slopes. Located in the heart of a vast natural cirque dominated by its 6 glaciers, the ski resort of Val Thorens offers a multitude of routes for skiing in the sun all day long.

Our ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible, and all our chefs have a passion for what they create. You’ll fall in love with the food as much as with the chalet!

Our service includes: seven breakfasts, seven afternoon tea and cakes, and six three-course meals including an aperitif, canapés plus wine and coffee
