Chalet Chambertin, Morzine

Situated along the beautiful Vallee de la Manche area of Morzine in a peaceful scenic location, this contemporary chalet boasts a sauna and outdoor hot tub. Combine all this with award winning levels of service and you’ve got the perfect alpine retreat.

The interior of the chalet has a homely alpine feel and the bedrooms have been decorated to Emma’s personal design. The 7 carpeted, en suite bedrooms surround the upstairs living room, which is perfect for enjoying an aprés-ski drink with friends, recounting tales of the day on comfortable leather sofas around the cosy log fire. The second living room is downstairs and a separate space to chill out in and enjoy a selection of movies or play games on or off the tv.

Food is a focus across both of our chalets and you will be treated to hearty breakfasts, afternoon tea and cakes and scrumptious four course evening meals with wine. The chalet team also provide a driving service to get you to the slopes and back each day.

Sat just 3km from the centre of Morzine and a short drive in the chalet minibus to the lifts, Chambertin enjoys a fantastic location along the Vallee de la Manche area of Morzine. Surrounded by mountains and the awesome Terre Maudite rock face, all providing the perfect alpine back drop to the chalet. The chalet has a minibus and we provide shuttles to and from any of the Morzine lifts between 08:30 and 10am and then again from 4pm-7pm. The nearest lift is the Nyon telecabine at just a 2 minute drive and the central Morzine lifts are just 7 to 10 minutes away. The ski bus which runs hourly also stops directly outside the chalet.

We are passionate about food and you’ll not go hungry at our chalets. Our head chef Mikey spends most of his inter-season experimenting in the kitchen to come up with an exciting menu for our chalets. A continental style buffet breakfast with cooked option is served every morning and the team will also home bake a cake and prepare afternoon tea for when you return to the chalet in the afternoons. Delicious three course evening meals with wines to suit are followed by our famous cheese course where we sample a different cheese each night accompanied by a cheesy story. Bean to cup coffee and a selection of teas are available all day every day.

Although we base our service on the traditional chalet style, we have been refining our way of doing it for over a decade. A champagne and canape welcome and a hot drink to your bedside table in the morning, before a hearty breakfast selection, both hot and cold. Then a quick ride to the slopes in your pre-warmed boots and a great days skiing in the mountains. Cake ready on your return, then relax in to the evening in a gorgeous chalet with a hearty 4 course meal and an extensively researched wine selection.

Chambertin is set back from the road about 50m with its own private garden. You arrive at the chalet and come into the entrance hall on the ground floor. The heated spacious boot room with boot warmers is to your right, and the kitchen to your left.

The spacious dining room with a large dining table and seats for 16 is just along from the kitchen and further along the corridor you will find the tv room and sauna. Up the stairs you will find the 7 en-suite bedrooms surrounding the larger open plan living room and huge glass French doors providing a wonderful view of the mountains and access to the rear garden terrace and outdoor hot tub.

Six of the bedrooms are twin or king rooms and there is one large family room which sleeps four in a super king and two singles or four single beds. All of the bedrooms are en suite and you’ll find a selection of Neals Yard Remedies toiletries to enjoy during your stay. The linen is the finest Egyptian cotton and we provide fluffy towels as well as robes and slippers to make the trip to the hot tub even more luxurious.
