Chalet Du Guide, Meribel

We are delighted to offer this chalet in Meribel Village.

With its aged wooden beams and panelling, Du Guide is an old-style ski chalet, oozing alpine charm and character. We love it for its huge open fire and south-facing balcony with deckchairs and hot tub, and its great location, close to both Méribel Village and the lifts. It offers spacious and comfortable living for families and friends in typical Savoyard style, with a welcoming open plan living area and deep, cosy sofas. In the eaves on the top floor there are two bedrooms (one en suite and the other with a private bathroom), one being large enough to accommodate an extra two people. Three further bedrooms are on the ground floor, all being en suite.

From the moment you arrive, to the morning we wave goodbye, you’ll be seamlessly and meticulously looked after by your Chalet Host, Chef and Resort Manager.

As you step from your transfer, we’ll take your luggage; make you feel at home; organise ski fitting in the chalet; have your passes ready and waiting; and if there’s time, get you up the mountain on the same day. And whatever time you arrive, there’ll be tea and cake or champagne and canapés ready and waiting for you. Fires will be lit, wine opened, and the aromas coming from the kitchen, can mean only one thing. You’re on holiday.

This season, all our chefs have had training from the team of Michelin starred restaurant Trinity, in Clapham, and they’re eager to get their aprons on and create just the kind of food you love, whatever your diet, to start the day and when you come off the mountain for dinner.

Each morning, after a hearty breakfast, we’ll make sure your children get to ski school on time – we have a mini bus service to take you to the meeting point in Méribel Centre – having introduced you to your instructors on day one.

We provide the whole chalet service when it comes to food: A full breakfast spread with daily specials, Afternoon tea, Homemade children’s tea, 5 course evening meal – canapés, starter, main, pudding and cheese with wine.

Wine - We consider all our wines to be ‘House’ wines, which are included in the price of your holiday and flow freely throughout your stay. We’d like you to sit back and enjoy them, rather than think about the cost. Great food goes hand-in-hand with great wine, so we don’t compromise on the quality and range of our wine list. We offer a variety of wines to suit all palates and which perfectly complement our chefs’ diverse menus.Enjoy working your way through our list over the course of the week and if there’s one you particularly enjoy, we’re happy for you to make it your tipple of choice all week long!

As well as our extensive House wine list, we also have a cocktail, spirit and digestif selection from which to chose. (payable for in resort)
