Some people thought us crazy to offer a private catered chalet for just two guests but Les Marmottes has proved extremely popular.

Chalet Les Marmottes is part of our fantastic Scalottas Lodge building which has beautiful views up to Courchevel 1850 and the peaks beyond. The Lodge houses chalets sleeping from 2 to 6 guests. The chalet itself is extremely spacious and has one bedroom sleeping two guests who will be catered for by their very own chalet host. Marmottes has modern and stylish fittings and is extremely comfortable.

Please note that to enjoy watching your favourite shows on the TV here in this chalet please bring an HDMI cable to fit your device, an Amazon Fire stick or anything else.

Location

Courchevel is the largest of "Les 3 Vallees", which itself is the largest ski area in the world.

Beginners can find their feet on the free nursery slopes, graduating to the various bubble lifts to get a bit higher once they progress to the wide blues.

Intermediates of all levels will enjoy the flattering skiing on cruisy blues and reds, getting over to Meribel in no time.

Experts will be delighted with some of the steepest slopes in the world. The incredible lift system in "Les 3 Vallees" means you can ski from Courchevel via Meribel to Les Menuires and Val Thorens in no time - and be back in plenty of time for afternoon tea.

Once you've skied in Courchevel you'll not want to go anywhere else.

Meals

Breakfast
A hearty, substantial breakfast is vital before a day on the slopes so that's what we serve. Our morning feasts have really evolved over the last few years and we get lots of very positive feedback about them.

There's a tempting range of continental options, fresh crusty baguette and porridge as well as a cooked breakfast. There's a different hot option each of the 5 mornings when breakfast is served to you by your host (please note this will be different on our short breaks in January).

No compromise is made on quality - we serve Heinz baked beans and ketchup, HP sauce and real teabags from the UK! Breakfast is served from 08.00 to 09.00.

Afternoon tea
Tuck into tempting treats after your day in the mountains. Help yourself to a freshly baked cake or biscuits which will have been made by your host. There will also be fresh baguette, jams, tea and coffee to enjoy.

Dinner
Dinner service is informal as we want you to feel at home in your chalet. Your chalet host will prepare and serve all your meals.

We work with local producers and suppliers to create an interesting and varied range of high quality home-made dishes.

Whilst you will never go hungry in a Le Ski chalet our staff have been trained in sustainability in the kitchen and we endeavour to keep food waste to a minimum.

After your three course dinner simply leave the table and relax with coffee and chocolates...if you have any room left (5 nights)
