Chalet Kobuk, Avoriaz

Chalet Kobuk offers the perfect space for 8-10 guests, spread over three floors with a cosy mezzanine above. The huge windows and balconies draw the mountain panoramas into every room. Built into the side of the mountain, the open plan living / dining area provides the ultimate place to relax at sunset and ponder the snow cats doing their work on the pistes below. The four en suite bedrooms occupy the lower floors, one with additional bunk beds (charged at half the adult price).

The position is sensational, 1850m altitude, close to the piste, a lift ride from the centre of the resort and Aquariaz water park and a stone’s throw from the piste side bars and ski school meeting point. The location deserved the very best and so we pulled together our favourite interior designers and local tradesmen to do something rather special.

You can put your skis on right outside the chalet door and ski away in the mornings, the piste is less than 100m from the chalet, so just a short walk at the end of the day to return for afternoon tea.

For guests staying in Chalet Kobuk we recommend the ski hire service from Avoriaz Sport. The shop is a short walk from the chalet so once you are settled and have sampled the afternoon tea that awaits you on arrival a member of the ski team will take you to the shop. We are confident you’ll get the very best of service from the Avoriaz Sport team.

Location

You can ski out from the chalet and back to within 100m. For guests staying in Chalet Kobuk our pre-booked ski hire is provided by Avoriaz Sport, which is moments away from the property.

Flights are not included, however a complimentary scheduled coach transfer from Geneva Airport to and from resort is included in the price. Strict timings apply.
