Chalet Philippe, Alpe d'Huez

Chalet Philippe occupies the ground and first floor of this building where we operate three chalets. The location is perfect with close proximity to the slopes and to the ice rink and indoor swimming pools (included with the lift pass) as well as local shops and bars.
The interior style of the Philippe is classically Alpine featuring warm wood panelling but with modern features throughout, and good quality en suite shower rooms. There is a welcoming fireplace in the lounge and a bright and spacious dining room.
Three of the twin bedrooms have bunk beds which are recommended for children under 12 only, so it’s a great choice chalet for several families to enjoy a ski week together.

The entrance to the chalet is on the ground floor where the ski room with heated boot warmers can be found, as well as the wellness centre with sauna and hot tub for the exclusive use of guests. An internal staircase (which is normally locked) connects the Philippe with the Christian chalet on the second floor.This can be opened up for groups of 22-32 booking both these chalets and arrangements can be made to eat dinner together in the Philippe’s spacious dining room on the ground floor.

CHALET CUISINE
Food is a feature of any ski holiday and we set very high standards for our cuisine. With a hearty breakfast to kick start your day, a delicious afternoon tea waiting for you on your return from the slopes, and delicious evening meal with a choice of complimentary wines and coffee 6 days per week* all included, our chalets offer outstanding value for skiers.
Our hosts will cook you a three-course adult only meal 6 nights a week in our chalets. Consisting of an appetiser, main course and dessert – with unlimited complimentary red, white and rosé wine during service! The staff nights off are a great opportunity to experience some local restaurants and cuisine. Speak to your resort representative for recommendations and help with reservations.

*(On your Host’s day off each week, they will leave a simpler continental breakfast out for you to help yourselves, there is no afternoon tea that day, and you can dine out locally in the evening. Your Resort Representative will gladly help out with information and make a reservation for you if you wish.)
