Fantastic facilities for kids and hotel-run childcare – family ski trips are sorted at the Hotel Lohman. There’s a fresh, modern feel inside with a neutral colour scheme and up-to-date furnishings throughout. And when it’s time to click into your skis, the nearest lift is a few steps away.
Each day starts with a big breakfast spread, where you have something different each day, from scrambled eggs to stacks of fresh pancakes. Skiing definitely works up an appetite, so don’t miss the afternoon tea for a well-earned coffee and cake. As for dinners, they’re served as a buffet so everyone can fill up on their favourites or try lots different local specialities if they fancy. And you’ll even get unlimited beer, house wine and soft drinks with your meal too.
When it comes to extras, there’s plenty of bang for your buck here. The kid’s playroom is bound to be a hit with its slide, trampoline, climbing wall and ball pit. And the hotel-run childcare’s excellent too. The English-speaking staff have plenty of crafts, games and songs up their sleeves to keep little ones entertained all day – they’ll even collect and drop them off at ski school. While they’re having fun, make the most of your adult-only downtime and enjoy an après cocktail in the bar or head down to the spa to indulge in a massage.

This free kids' club is aimed at children 3 years and above. The club is located in an entertaining playroom within the hotel, where qualified childcare providers can keep a close eye on them.

The club also runs a free ski school collection service from the meeting point Hochfirst back to the hotel for lunch (food is included).

Twin room (Krokus 30m²) – sleeps 2-4 (max 3 adults and 1 child aged 14 years and under OR 2 adults and up to 2 children aged 14 years and under): Austrian twin beds, extra double sofa bed, private shower, WC and balcony.
Junior suite (Wild Spitze 42m²) – sleeps 2-4: Austrian twin beds, extra double sofa bed, private bath (with shower attachment), WC and balcony.
Family room (Schneerose 45m²) – sleeps 5 (max 4 adults and 1 child aged 14 years and under OR 3 adults and up to 2 children aged 14 years and under): two sets of Austrian twin beds, single sofa bed when booked for 5 people, private bath (with shower attachment), WC and balcony.
Please note: Twin rooms and family rooms are located on different floors. Just so you know, during the week of New Year’s Eve the minimum occupancy will be 3-4 adults.
Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
Great for families with an in house kids club.
