We’ve all stayed in those 1970s shoe box self-catering complexes in various French resorts. Well, the good news is that the brand new Foncière Rénovation Montagne Company has set aside over €70 million for a 4/5 year period to overhaul and upgrade apartment blocks in Serre Chevalier, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Les Menuires, and Les Deux Alpes.

The company is a consortium of accommodation owners in the aforementioned resorts who have recognised for some time the need to upgrade their bed banks or lose their target clientele altogether. For some time now these blots on the landscape have been the last chance saloon for budget skiers whilst increasingly guests’ requirements have become far more sophisticated during this period rendering huge swathes of this accommodation unmarketable.

Foncière Rénovation Montagne plan an aggressive marketing campaign with the help of local dignitaries and actors to push forward their exciting message.
