Big Sky Ski Holiday Resort

When Big Sky linked up with Moonlight basin and agreed a joint lift pass the area became the biggest linked ski area in the USA (bigger than Vail). The skiing in Big Sky suits all levels but with the emphasis on intermediate to advanced terrain, beginners are well catered for but it is a long way to go for complete beginners. The village is close to the ski lift making for a very ski convenient resort. The lack of crowds on the mountain is really quite staggering.

The lack of apres ski, the average mountain restaurants, and the lack of atmosphere in teh evenings are more than made up for with friendly locals, great conditions, empty pistes, and a whopping 5532 acres of terrain.
