Courchevel Le Praz 1300 Ski Holiday Resort

Overview

Most of our clients only experience of Courchevel Le Praz will be on the transfer coach up the larger Courchevels.......and personally we think you're missing out. The more traditional village atmosphere has a lot going for it, and the two Telecabines that seldom have queues whisk skiers either up to 1850 or (on the Foret lift) to the Cretes chair which is high above 1850. Turn right and get the short link over to the Meribel valley. Why don't people choose Le Praz? Well I guess it has something to do with the the altitude of 1300 metres but here at Snowfinders we have skied back to the resort throughout the season right up to the second week in April. The red Brigues back to Le Praz is a great run to finish the day. The Olympic ski jump built for the 1992 event is on the edge of the village and holds events throughout the season. Snowfinders were sponsors of two trainee instructors during the 2010/11 season. They lived in Le Praz and they sent us footage of their season so why not follow the link on: Snowfinders youtube and enjoy seeing their time in Courchevel.

Offslope/apres ski

Various restaurants and bars. Snow-shoeing amongst the trees.
