Zurs Ski Holiday Resort
Overview
Ten minutes drive from Lech the village of Zurs has virtually guaranteed snow from December to April. The village is more exclusive than Lech with no hotels below 3 star and a dozen 4 star and 5 star hotels, around which the resort revolves. The skiing is an intermediates dream with plenty of options. Particularly recommended is taking the Zursersee chair out of Zurs then the slow 2 man Muggengrat chair to take the fantastic red 10 all the way back into Zurs racing the buses to Lech as the last 2kms of the run are next to the road!!
Serious dining means Zurserhof or Lorenser but make sure your wallet will stand it!!
Zurs has its own ski school but instructors tend to be booked for the entire season with regular clients, and more than 80% of them will be private instruction only.

Offslope/apres ski
Quiet après ski mainly focussing on the hotel but there is music at the Edelweiss and a piano bar in the Alpenhof. The Skiclub Alpenrose is the best night spot in town.

The village is more exclusive than Lech but without the overt opulence.
