Overview

The Hotel Jakobwirt, run by the Wurzrainer family, is renowned for its friendly service and traditional Tyrolean décor, helping bring to life a truly Austrian experience.

Centrally located in Westendorf, this hotel mirrors many of the qualities of the village – charm, tradition and a cosy atmosphere. From the hotel you can walk to the beginner slopes in just two minutes, or over to the Alpenrose gondola – which gives you access to the incredible SkiWelt area – in under five.

Natural materials and local craftsmanship were used in its design, helping complement the surrounding Kitzbühel Alps. The bedrooms are filled with custom furnishings made from high-quality materials and are equipped with all the usual hotel-room necessities to make your stay that little bit more comfortable.

If it’s the views you’ve come for, then the hotel’s sunny terrace, overlooking the picturesque Brixen Valley, will be right up your street. And after a day exploring the valley, head back to the hotel and freshen up with a dip in the indoor pool or a session in the sauna or infrared cabin.

There’s also a lot of focus on food at the Jakobwirt. The highly qualified chefs spend their days creating hearty and inventive 5-course evening meals with both local and national influences.

Rooms

All rooms have a hairdryer, safe, telephone and flatscreen satellite TV, and are non-smoking.

Twin room – sleeps 2: Austrian twin beds, private bath or shower and WC.

Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
