The USA has a huge selection of ski resorts, from the luxurious Colorado ski destinations that attract the well-heeled, to the affordable, friendly resorts of other states. Being such a vast country the scenery varies massively whether you are skiing in Killington, Aspen, Taos, or Squaw Valley. The direct flight into Denver has meant that Colorado has become the Brits number one US destination state. Here you can easily access the glamorous names of Aspen, Beaver Creek, Vail, and Breckenridge plus other resorts such as Keystone, Winter Park, and Copper Mountain. In Utah Park City is a firm favourite, especially as the ski area now includes The Canyons with over 300 trails to become the U.S's largest ski area. Apres in the U.S. doesn't feature like it does in Europe, however, Vail, Breckenridge and Aspen all have a great scene.
