Mammoth Ski Holiday Resort

Overview

With an average snowfall of 385 inches annually, if you like your skiing/boarding in deep snow, this is the resort for you. There is an impressive array of skiing for all levels. With piste maintenance/grooming being really good, intermediates will love charging down the freshly made corduroy on the front and back side of the mountain. With most of the accommodation being away from the mountain a car is an excellent and expected way of getting to and from the ski areas with ample parking. 4.5 - 5 hours drive from LA and 3 hrs drive from Reno.

Offslope/apres ski

As with a lot of U.S. ski resorts there isn’t a great deal to do for non skiers although there is nearby Factory outlet shopping. The weekend becomes a lot busier with plenty to do with live music and dancing.
