Keystone
Overview
The quieter sister resort to Breckenridge, Vail and Beaver Creek. Keystone is much more tranquil and affordable than its siblings. The River run condos are particularly pleasant and conveniently located 200m from the base of the River Run gondola. Keystone has a lot to offer mixed ability groups but intermediates are particularly well catered for with a decent ski are and 3148 acres of terrain. Night skiing is huge here and other resorts are covered on your lift pass too.
Being very high there is a risk of altitude sickness and the resort is a valley floor elongation of holiday lodging centres. Great for all abilities of skiiers makes Keystone a good family or mixed ability destination. experts will love the back bowls and back country skiing here.
Offslope/apres ski
Skating, tubing and indoor tennis for non skiers but not a lot else. Après ski isn’t high on the resorts priorities, but the Summit house has live après ski music
