St Moritz Ski Holiday Resort
Overview
Resort with a very “Glitzy” reputation and deservedly so, the town has plenty of fashionable and expensive shops. The town itself is not particularly pretty and is divided into two parts St Moritz Dorf and St Moritz Bad. The skiing is mainly suitable for all levels of intermediate skier and the resort is pretty good for beginners (but not the most convenient). Expert piste skiers will be in their elemnet with amazing off-piste and on piste challenges. The terrain parks here are excellent for newer generation of skiers and boarders.
The lift system is excellent and it means that queues are rarely a problem.
Off slope activities are numerous with a great range of bars, clubs, restuarants, etc. Snow polo and other events are continually scheduled into the winter calendar.
Offslope/apres ski
Non skiers will have a huge number of options from the Cresta run to polo and golf matches on the frozen lake. A real après ski resort with a myriad of different venues from the eye wateringly expensive to really quite reasonable bars and clubs.
