Baqueira Beret

Overview
The skiing in Baqueira-Beret is high in the Spanish Pyrenees, and really is an undiscovered gem. If you are fed up with the horrendous lift queues in the Alps over half term give this resort a go. The skiing is ideally suited to intermediates with long and interesting runs. here you can take advantage of wide-open pistes served by a modern lift system. For experts the on piste challenges are few but the off piste area is large and remains untracked for many days with some great itinerary runs too. There is a british run ski school, BB Ski school. Non skiers are not well catered for but the apres ski is very Spanish with tapas bars and spanish restaurants.
Offslope/apres ski
Pools and spa facilities in some hotels, the après ski revolves around some busy bars and restaurants.
