Hotel La Perla, Val di Fassa

The La Perla is a firm favourite of ours in Canazei. It’s an authentic Tyrolean hotel run by the Debertol family, who provide a warm welcoming as soon as you arrive. They take great pride in the care and presentation of the property and the services they deliver play a big part in making this the superior four-star hotel it is today. It’s conveniently located right in the centre of Canazei, two minutes down the road from the main Belvedere gondola, so you’ll be out on the slopes in no time.

The large wellness centre and indoor swimming pool are a real luxury, just what you need after a day on the slopes. You could even treat yourself to a massage (payable locally) to work out any tension in your muscles, leaving you in prime condition for skiing or boarding.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They’re newly furnished but capture that cosy Alpine feel, with traditional wooden panelling. All of the doubles have furnished balconies, perfect for sitting out and relaxing in the early evening sunshine.

When it comes to food you'll be well looked after. Head Chef Mauro Debertol has great experience in making delicious Trentino cuisine using the highest quality local produce, ready to ensure you're well fuelled while here on holiday in the mountains. From 3.30pm to 5.30pm each day there's a great spread of homemade cakes and savoury snacks. There's always a great choice when it comes to the evening meal with traditional local dishes, as well as Mediterranean and international influences. They also have a well stocked wine cellar, so be sure to check out the wine list or ask for recommendations!

Wellness Centre

The hotel has an attractive wellness centre with an indoor heated pool, saunas, steam room, ice grotto, whirlpool and relaxation area all included in the hotel price. It's the perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes. You can book and pay locally for beauty treatments, massages and to use the solarium.

The swimming pool is open to children up to the age of 14 until 5.30pm. After this the wellness centre is reserved for adults only.

Meals

Guests can enjoy a hot and cold buffet buffet breakfast each morning to help build up the energy levels for the day ahead. Return in the afternoon and enjoy daily sweet and savoury après snacks. Don't fill up too much as you still have a delicious four course evening prepared by head chef Mauro Debertol each evening. Enjoy the local tastes of  Trentino specialities, Mediterranean dishes and other international influences across the menu. Once a week you will be treated to a fantastic gala dinner where you can really experience the true local dishes and hearty dishes.

Classic Rooms are about 20-23m² and sleep two people. They have a furnished balcony. All rooms have shower, TV, safe, hairdryer and wellness slippers and bath robes.

Junior suites are very spacious at about 40m² decorated in a warm mountain style, have an additional lounge area and a bath or shower. The furnished balconies have wonderful views of the Dolomites.
