Hotel Somont

Hotel Somont is a family-run gem with a prime location in Selva. Ski straight from the hotel down a gentle blue run into the resort, or take a short 300-metre walk to the centre, where you'll find shops, bars and cafés to explore.

After a day on the slopes, unwind in the spa featuring a 31°C indoor pool, jacuzzi, Finnish and infrared saunas, Turkish steam bath and peaceful relaxation areas – perfect for recharging.

Each room is individually styled in a modern Alpine design with warm, homely touches. Many rooms offer balconies with mountain views, including the iconic Sassolungo, making Hotel Somont a cosy and scenic base for your Dolomites ski holiday.

Location

The charming hotel benefits from having a piste side location, start your day by heading down the short Freina piste down into the center of Selva and take your pick between heading up the Costabella chairlift or head up the Ciampinoi gondola.

Guests will be dropped off and picked up 50 metres from the hotel due to a narrow last stretch of road.

If you’re new to skiing, the resort has a fantastic dedicated beginner area. To reach it, simply take the resort bus to the Dantercepies lift, then ski down to the ski school meeting point. Walking is also an option, though it’s uphill all the way from the hotel.

Meals

Start the morning with a hot and cold buffet breakfast in the hotel's lovely restaurant. In the evenings you can enjoy a three-course meal with choices and a salad buffet. Dishes are typically south Tyrolean with many of the ingredients sourced locally Christmas and New Year's Eve dinners are included
In Italy, it’s common for hotels not to provide tap water during meal service. Still and sparkling bottled water can be easily purchased locally.

CIR twin rooms are around 23m² and sleep 2 people. All hotel twin bedrooms are finished in an Alpine style and include a balcony with panoramic views, TV and safe.

Sasslong twin rooms are around 26m² and sleep up to 3 people (third bed is either a single bed or single sofa bed).

Dolomiti twin rooms are around 28m² and sleep up to 4 people (extra beds are either twin beds or double sofa bed). Room available on request. Please call to book.
