Hotel La Stua, San Cassiano

La Stua is a wonderful property with lots of charm due to the traditional and attractive South Tyrolean style. The hotel is rich with history and has been owned by the same family for many years. All the family and staff pride themselves on their services and ensuring guests have a lovely stay.

Situated in the centre of San Cassiano, La Stua is 500 metres from the nearest ski lift where you can conveniently leave your ski equipment free of charge in a heated locker next to the Piz Sorega gondola.

The hotel's wellness and relaxation area is perfect after a busy day on the slopes. Here you will find a Turkish bath, physiotherm infrared cabin to really relax those aching muscles, Finnish sauna, two whirlpools and for any sore feet, you must try the Kneipp bath which apparently works a treat.

Meal times are not to be missed in the hotel, especially the weekly Ladin buffet dinner where you will feast in the hotel's rustic tavern. Here you will enjoy a range of local specialties from the area.

After dinner we highly recommend a drink at the bar and listen to the crackling fire while chatting about where you plan to ski the following day. This hotel is a really lovely choice for those looking for a home from home environment.

Meals

Enjoy meals in the hotels elegant dining room with great views of the surrounding area. A buffet breakfast is ready and waiting for you each morning with plenty of choice. Dinner is a set menu each evening with a choice of main. The head chef and his team cook a mixture of classic recipes and typical Tyrolean dishes as well as a preparing a salad and vegetable buffet. The star of the show is the weekly Ladino buffet dinner in the hotel's rustic tavern. Here you will enjoy a real taste of the area and some tasty local specialties are on offer.

The hotel also offer a weekly aperitivo which you can enjoy in the bar area. Afternoon tea is served each day with biscuits or cake to enjoy.

North facing twin rooms sleep two people and are around 25m². Rooms have a north facing balcony. All rooms have a shower, WC, TV, safe, and hair dryer.

South facing twin rooms sleep up to 3 people (the third bed is a single sofa bed) and are around 28m². Rooms have a south facing balcony.

Family apartment are available on request and are around 42m². They sleep up to five people with a double sofa bed and have a balcony. Please call to book.
