Hotel Dolonne, Courmayeur

Hotel Dolonne is full of character – it’s a traditional 16th century building with tonnes of original features. The stone walls, arched ceilings and spiral tower staircase almost makes it feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The Vaglio Tessitore family have run the hotel for three generations and they really know how to treat their guests. They’ve created a really comfortable space with authentic bedrooms, lovely food and a great lounge with a log fireplace. Grab a drink from the bar and warm up here after a busy day skiing.

It’s located in the little village of Dolonne, which is less than a mile from the main town of Courmayer where you’ll find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. There’s a bus stop near the hotel with regular buses to take you back and forth. The nearest ski lift is only 100 metres away and you can ski back pretty close to the hotel.

Meals

The restaurant provides a buffet breakfast each morning. The theme of the food is traditional Italian with a local influence. Come the evening you'll enjoy a three course meal. The hotel must be aware of any specific dietary requirements before you arrive, please advise us when booking.

The bar offers a choice of refreshing beverages for you to indulge in throughout your stay.

Twin Rooms sleep up to four people and feature a shower, hairdryer, TV and most have a view of the mountain. A room with a balcony can be requested but not guaranteed. The rooms are simple in style with traditional curtains and bedding, wooden and white painted walls with a minimalist cosy feel.

Single Rooms feature a bath or shower and most have a mountain view.
