Brand new leisure complex & spa to be completed by August 2026

Hotel Col Alto is one of the top places to stay in the Dolomites. Set in the heart of Corvara, it’s just a short walk to lively bars, shops and restaurants. Inside, the hotel blends modern alpine style with cosy mountain charm, making it hard to leave once you arrive.

The Iceberg Lounge Bar is a must-visit – ideal for catching up over a creative cocktail or warming up with a hot chocolate by the fire after a day on the slopes. Mealtimes are a highlight, with fresh, locally sourced South Tyrolean dishes served with a contemporary twist.

Unwind in the wellness centre, complete with an indoor pool, whirlpool, and a choice of saunas. On sunny days, the mountain-view solarium is perfect, or treat yourself to a massage for total relaxation.

Location

The location couldn’t be better in central Corvara and just 400 metres from the Boe gondola. It's the best place if you want to head straight out and get onto the brilliant Sellaronda circuit. If you don't fancy carrying your skis, the hotel runs a shuttle to and from the slopes every morning and afternoon. 200 metres to the resort centre. 400 metres to the Boe gondola. 500 metres to ski hire shop. 400 metres to ski school. 20 metres to nearest bus stop.

Meals

They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and at the Col Alto they go all out. Expect a comprehensive range of food across a number of hot and cold buffet tables as well as tea and coffee served to your table.
In the evening you can indulge as much as you want. To start with you'll find all sorts of delicious appetisers on the buffet and you can help yourself to as many as you like. Next up is main course with a multiple choice menu of regional and national Italian dishes. Back up to the buffet and a selection of small deserts and cheese await.
On New Years Eve they serve a delicious gala dinner.
In Italy, it’s common for hotels not to provide tap water during meal service. Still and sparkling bottled water can be easily purchased locally.

Twin rooms sleep two people and are 22m². They have a bath or shower and a balcony. These rooms can be booked for single use at a supplement.

Twin classic Col Alto rooms are 30-35m² and can sleep up to three using a French sofa bed. They have a bath, lounge/seating area and a balcony.

Superior twin rooms are 30-36m², sleep two to four people (extra bed is a French sofa bed). They have a shower and a balcony.

Sassongher suites offer plenty of space at 45m². They sleep up to four people (extra bed is a double sofa bed) and have views of the Sassongher mountain. They also have a lounge/seating area, bath and shower and a balcony. These rooms are available on request, please call our Reservations team to book.

Martagon double are between 30-36m² and have a lounge/seating area, a bath and shower and a balcony. These rooms can sleep two to four people, either three adults or two adults and two children. The extra bed is a French sofa bed. These rooms are in the hotel’s annex building and cannot be adjacent to any other room types. An underground tunnel connects the two buildings. Martagon rooms have not been refurbished.

Annexes

Annexe is accessed via internal corridor or by crossing the road. Martagon rooms and the wellness area are located in the annex.
