Chalet Bonhomme

Chalet Bonhomme is one of the largest catered ski chalets in the French ski resort of Val Thorens, offering stunning views over the 3 Valleys ski resort and accommodating up to 28 people. Perfect for a large group getaway.

Our catered ski chalet Bonhomme is part of the Hermine residence complex, located in the quiet 'Plein sud' area of Val Thorens. Located at the back of the residence complex on the third floor (a 5-minute walk from the reception), guests have a private entrance to the chalet which is set away from the rest of the apartments. Guests can reach the chalet via a lift and a short walk along the walkways.

The chalet is set over 3 floors with 12 ensuite bedrooms. All of the bedrooms have access to a balcony overlooking the Val Thorens Valley. 10 bedrooms are twin/double rooms and 2 bedrooms can sleep up to 4 people with a set of bunk beds as well as twin/double beds.

The chalet has a large living/dining room area with a huge balcony with stunning views over the valley.

Within the residence complex, guests have access to a shared swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna.

To access the pistes, there is a 5-minute walk down a hill to the slopes and bus stop. Skiers can join the blue Plein Sud piste, ski through the resort and link with ease into the rest of the ski area. The free and regular resort shuttle bus stops only 400m away with buses every 20 minutes for the additional convenience of guests.

Ski school is a 5-minute walk to the bus stop or piste and then a 5-minute ski, or a short bus ride.

Note: Chalet Bonhomme operates on a sole-occupancy basis. This means you'll have the entire space to yourselves with no sharing with strangers, ensuring a private and personalised experience.

Location

Chalet Bonhomme is located just a short walk to / from the piste. Customers can join the piste in less than a 5 minute walk, with quick access to a blue / green run. Customers then have the choice to either ski directly back to the chalet via a short section of 'off-piste' or within a 5 minute walk of the chalet via a blue / green. It is just a 5 minute walk to the centre and main strip of bars and restaurants and either a 10 minute walk or 2-3 minutes on the free resort shuttle bus to the ski school meeting point.

Meals

Our catered chalet service includes daily breakfast, afternoon tea and cakes, and freshly prepared 4-course evening meals served with wine on six evenings of your stay. Carefully selected red, white, and rose house wines are served with evening meals. We focus on quality, easy-drinking wines that complement the menu, and additional upgrades or specific requests can often be arranged in advance. Each chalet has a dedicated chef and hosting team who live locally in resort. Menus are freshly prepared in the chalet everyday.
