Chalet La Rocheure

Chalet La Rocheure is a beautifully renovated 17th century farmhouse that retains its original character, blending traditional local wood and stone with a modern, stylish interior. The charming La Rocheure is a  popular chalet in Val d'Isere, and is the perfect choice for a group of family and friends who want to enjoy a relaxed chalet ambience in a great location, and in a world class ski area.

The chalet has doorstep skiing, click on your skis in the morning and follow the gentle slope from the chalet down to the ski lifts. At the end of the day, return via the red Olympique piste, which is best suited for intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders. A free ski shuttle stops close to the chalet until 8pm, offering convenient access to and from the mountain throughout the day.

Location

The chalet is approximately 700 metres or seven minutes' walk to the centre of Val d'Isère, where you can find a range of shops, bars and restaurants. Apart from the fantastic skiing, Val d'Isere also has plenty to keep you occupied even when you are not on the mountain - spend the afternoon at The Centre Aquasportif which has a spa, swimming pool and sports courts or head to the legendary après at Cocorico. Perfect location for skiers with skiing back to the doorstep Ski to the door from the red Olympique piste. Four minutes' walk (400 metres) or a quick ski to the Solaise Gondola Seven minutes' walk (700 metres) to the resort centre but the shuttle bus stops close by and runs until 8pm Ski school meeting place by the Solaise Gondola

Meals

Staff night off is once a week when there is no afternoon tea or dinner, so on this day you can explore the local restaurants in Val d'Isere. Breakfast on this day will be a continental breakfast. Our Destination Experts are there to recommend and book a local restaurant in resort for the free evening.

For 6 mornings of your holiday there’s a classic full cooked breakfast available.
A tasty home baked cake will be served for afternoon tea with a selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate.
A 4-course set menu will be cooked and served by your chalet hosts on 6 evenings of your holiday. Start your evening with an aperitif with nibbles, followed by a starter, main, dessert and cheese board.
