Chalet Sophia

Chalet Sophia is a spacious chalet sleeping 16 people, laid out over four floors, in Tignes les Brévières and boasts panoramic mountain views. The premium accommodation is located in the village’s Hauts des Brévières area, just short walk to the main lift station, piste, bars and restaurants.

Chalet Sophia benefits from both a traditional Scandinavian-style wooden sauna and a balcony hot tub overlooking the picture-perfect snowy village, lake and mountains beyond – perfect for soothing your muscles after a long day on the slopes! There is ample storage for skis and boards complete with heated boot warmers, so you know your equipment will be ready for action the following day.

The chalet has eight comfortably furnished double/twin bedrooms, four of which are ensuite. On the upper level, a bathroom is shared between Rooms 5 and 6 and another bathroom is shared by Rooms 7 and 8. Thanks to a lockable adjoining door, Rooms 7 and 8 can be used as a family room if required. An extra bed can be added to Room 2 to bring the chalet capacity up to 17.

With its wood and stone finish, the stylish living/dining area has an abundance of character and a sociable, open-plan layout. Guests can indulge in delicious meals at the large banqueting table, relax in front of the crackling fire and admire the idyllic views from the communal balcony. Meanwhile, a separate cosy television snug offers UK satellite TV, DVD facilities with a selection of movies, games consoles and a choice of board games.

There is space to park two cars outside the chalet. If you bring more than two cars, the additional cars will need to be parked in one of the village’s two public car parks.

Meals

Breakfast includes freshly baked French pastries, baguettes from our local boulangerie, preserves, yoghurt, fruit, and a selection of cereals. On five days, your chef will prepare a cooked breakfast.

For two days, a self-serve continental breakfast will be available, with porridge and boiled eggs prepared for you. Afternoon tea features a freshly baked cake, freshly brewed coffee, a selection of teas, hot chocolate, and juices. Your booking includes dinner on six of the seven nights. Dinner consists of canapés, a starter, a main course, dessert, and a cheese platter to finish—all accompanied by free-flowing French wine! On the first and last evening, a prosecco reception will be served before dinner.

The chalet will also be stocked with a selection of alcohol and mixers (please note that this supply is limited to a set amount per week).
