Chalet Aphylla, St Martin-De-Belleville

Chalet Aphylla is situated in Villarabout, just above the village of St Martin de Belleville, and is only a two minute chauffeur driven journey from the centre of St Martin de Belleville and the slopes.

The chalet sleeps 8 and has been designed with a reference to the traditional whilst its styling has achieved a contemporary and yet cosy feel. There are four fabulous double bedrooms all with great en-suite bathrooms whilst the communal living areas all exude a feeling of calm and comfort and has spectacular uninterrupted views across and down the Valley.

The wonderful living area has two large comfortable sofas facing each other where guests can sit and relax in the light of the glass-fronted log fire. The living area also boasts a wall-mounted Smart TV which is equipped with British Satellite TV and DVD player, together with a selection of DVDs.

The dining area flows through from the living space towards the kitchen. At night, the dining area benefits from the glass fronted log fire that it shares with the living room.

On the ground floor there is a ski room which has heated boot warmers and ski racks to keep your equipment warm and dry. You will also find the beautiful wood sauna, the perfect place to ease your aching muscles after a day on the mountain, which is complemented with a shower to invigorate you before and after your sauna.

Meals

At breakfast you will be offered a wide selection of cereals and porridge, fresh fruit salad, organic fruit juices, yoghurts, local artisan breads and freshly baked croissants. On 5 mornings of your holiday (our chef and host will have two days off) we offer a cooked daily special such as bacon and eggs, American style pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup, Eggs Benedict or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon – these cooked options can be tailored to your preferences.

On your return from skiing each day you will find our mouthwatering afternoon tea set up for you in the dining area, with freshly baked cakes, breads and jams, teas, coffee and hot chocolate.

Your evening will start with a choice of canapés and aperitifs around the fire before dinner. We are passionate about using the freshest locally-sourced seasonal ingredients in all our dishes and our evening menus are designed to be beautifully balanced whilst delivering great flavours.

Our food is not over complicated and our ethos is to prepare stunningly presented and truly mouth-watering dishes. A selection of local French cheeses is always offered after dinner, followed by coffee and petit fours. Your dinner will be accompanied by a great selection of carefully selected premium wines.

The bedrooms in Chalet Aphylla are designed for the most discerning of guests and are furnished and accessorised in a modern alpine style. The area dorned with crisp white linens and sumptuous duvets for a feeling of luxurious tranquility.

Bedroom 1 is situated on the first floor, just off the main living area.
The bedroom is decorated in a neutral palette of taupes and browns, complemented with beautiful local woods. The bedroom has a superking bed, that can be divided into two twin beds.
Bedroom 1 has an en-suite bathroom, comprised of bath, over bath shower, sink and WC.

Bedroom 2 is situated on the second floor. The room is decorated in soft grey tones with luxurious fabrics and furnishings.
The bedroom has a King-size bed and a mezzanine level with a cosy snug. There is plenty of built-in storage space. The bathroom is comprised of WC, floor-standing basin unit and walk-in shower (with both fixed-head and hand-held attachments).

Bedroom 3 is situated on the second floor. This room has a double bed and is decorated in a soft palate of creams and golds.
Bedroom 3 has a tiled bathroom comprised of WC, floor-standing basin and walk-in shower (with both fixed-head and hand-held attachments).

Bedroom 4 is situated on the second floor and is decorated in warm brown tones.
This room has a kingsize bed and there is plenty of built in storage. The en-suite bathroom is comprised of shower (with both fixed-head and hand-held attachments), WC and floor-standing basin unit.
