Ferme St Christophe, Samoens

Ferme St Christophe was originally constructed at the beginning of the 19th century but has been painstakingly restored over a 3 year period. It is the finest example of a french Early Modern farmhouse restoration in Samoens. Expert craftsmanship is evident throughout which can be enjoyed with over 500m2 of internal space.

Ferme St Christophe has 8 ensuite bathrooms sleeping up to 15 guests. 4 of the bedrooms have south facing balconies to enjoy the afternoon and evening sunshine. 7 of the bedrooms can be configured as Twins or Super King Size Doubles using our luxurious wool and cashmere mattresses made by award the winning Harrison and Spink. The 8th bedroom can only be configured as a standard size double. All bathrooms have a lovely range of Cole and Lewis bathrooms products along with mirror demister pads. There is super fast WiFi throughout the property serviced by three separate phone lines into the chalet.

The ground floor comprises a large Sitting Room complete with an extensive library, iPod docking station and an open fireplace. For those wishing to watch an evening movie then a large flat screen TV can appear at the touch of a button! Separate to the Sitting Room is The Bureau where you can find a quiet spot to read a book or play a board game. The light and spacious Dining Room has another fireplace and two enormous oak tables with more south facing views.

Separate to the main house is The Barn which offers an excellent second entertaining space. The Mazot Spa houses a traditional Swedish sauna for 16 people with wonderful views of the mountains. It also includes a separate shower and WC. Next to the Mazot Spa is the outdoor hot tub sitting up to 8 people. There is also a large private garden to soak up the afternoon sunshine or build the obligatory snowman!

The property is a 3 minute drive from the Samoens cable car using our private driver service. This service is available between 8am – 10am and 3pm – 7pm. The free ski bus stops 100 metres from the chalet. Please note that the driver service is not available on a Wednesday.

Ferme St Christophe is located in the quiet Vallon area of Samoens, just a 10 minute stroll from the centre of town.

The above prices are per person per week based on 2 people sharing an ensuite room fully catered (breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner). The prices also include our house wines, beer and soft drinks. This is an unlimited service not just confined to meal times. All drinks are included for the duration of the stay – we do not have honesty bars where guests are required to pay a supplementary cost.
