Chalet Hotel La Foret, Peisey-Vallandry

Our superb Chalet Hotel enjoys a central location at the heart of a traditional chalet complex just above the village of Vallandry. It is directly on the piste and guests can ski in and out from the hotel terrace. La Foret has been finished to a very high standard to give comfortable communal areas and large bedrooms. The lounge overlooks the large south-west Terrace and circular dining tables of 8 offer enough room for all guests and staff to sit down together to enjoy fabulous evening meals.

For your convenience all guest bedrooms offer private Tea & Coffee making facilities on request.

This chalet features free WiFi, in-house private Ski & Boot hire, and a ski room with boot warmers.

Location 

Our Chalet La Foret is located in Vallandry, one of six separate villages making up Les Arcs. The area was linked in 2004 with La Plagne to form Paradiski, one of the biggest resorts in the world. The Vanoise Express, the fantastic double decker cable car linking the two resorts, is conveniently only one chairlift away from our superbly positioned Chalet La Foret.

With the massive diversity of skiing on offer within the Les Arcs network yet enjoying the charming ambience of Vallandry village, one of the most carefully developed resort villages in France, this fantastic location has become a firm favourite with many of our guests.

Meals

To get you started every morning we provide a hearty buffet of cereals, fresh French bread and jams, porridge, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, tea, and coffee. The Ski Olympic cooked breakfast will also be available on 4 mornings. This breakfast is made up of 3 items which may include: bacon, egg, sausage, mushrooms, hash brown and tomatoes will set you up perfectly for a great day on the slopes.
On 2 mornings, we will be serving a continental breakfast which includes, fresh croissants, Pain Au Chocolat, ham, cheese. Finally on departure day, there will be a "light breakfast" of fresh croissants, Pain Au Chocolat, cereals, yoghurts, juices, tea, and coffee.

On your return, a daily delicious afternoon tea is provided of freshly baked cakes, bread and jams, including tea & coffee.

On 6 evenings you will enjoy a wonderful three course evening meal accompanied by complimentary table wine.

The majority of our chefs have gained their skills in many restaurants and hotels, and are keen to share with you the results of those experiences. Even though many return year after year, all are involved in our in-depth annual training programme to ensure they are able to meet the standards our clients have come to expect.

All guest bedrooms have full en-suite facilities. Nearly every room offers a private balcony. A lift serves all floors, and two bedrooms have been specifically designed to be wheelchair friendly. For those self-driving, we offer secure indoor parking below the hotel in our private garage for an extra charge, with lift access to all floors. La Foret also features its own bar and restaurant La Caverne.
