Penthouse Umka, Les Arcs 1950

Penthouse Umka is one of 12 brand new suites within the Bear Resort in Arc 1950. We're absolutely thrilled to be opening these independent chalet apartments which combine the intimacy of your own chalet service and the luxury of amenities within a larger hotel. Bear Resort offers a spacious common lounge and bar, proper size pool complex with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and massage suites, gym, cinema, kids' playroom and concierge ski room with rental shop.

Penthouse Umka is on the seventh floor with direct access to the village just down the hall. This four bedroom property is split across two floors, providing unique accommodation for 8 to 9 guests in en suite bedrooms, one of which has an additional single bed (children occupying this bed pay half price).

The suite is entirely independent with open plan living / dining area and balcony overlooking the piste and providing spectacular views. Of course there is surround sound TV, Wifi, flat sceen TV's in the bedrooms and a dedicated chalet host.

This host will provide a cooked breakfast, afternoon tea, canapes on the first and last evening, and a 3 course evening meal on 6 nights, followed by cheese board and coffee and served with a choice of red and white wine.

Our suites share the same building as Bear Lodge, strung along the side of the Baptiste Giabiconi blue piste and opposite the Marmottes and Bois de L'Ours chairlifts. You can glide away from the concierge managed ski room and rental shop or stroll across the piste to the magical traffic free village of Arcs 1950. An extraordinary high altitude intersection of pistes and forty charismatic shops, cafe, bars and restaurants.

Location

A fantastic ski in – ski out location in the very heart of Arc 1950. Situated along the side of the Baptiste Giabiconi blue piste and opposite the Marmottes and Bois de L’Ours chairlifts. The whole resort is completely pedestrianised and car-free, you can literally ski right through the centre.

Meals

Continental breakfast with a cooked option on 6 mornings
Afternoon tea will be left in the chalet for you to help yourself to freshly made cake or biscuits, bread & jams, selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate
Canapés on the first and last evening
3 course evening meal (6 nights) followed by cheese board and coffee
A choice of red and white wine is served throughout dinner

Flights are not included, however a complimentary scheduled coach transfer from Geneva Airport to and from resort is included in the price. Strict timings apply.
