Bear Lodge is our ski-in/ski-out luxury hotel in Arc 1950, set directly on the Baptiste Giabiconi blue piste in the heart of Les Arcs and the vast Paradiski area. With just 30 bedrooms, it combines the warmth of traditional chalet hosting with the polish and facilities of a boutique alpine hotel - described by Country & Town House as “an unmatched luxury chalet experience in the heart of Les Arcs.”
Step out of our concierge-managed ski room, click in and glide straight onto the piste. The Marmottes and Bois de L’Ours lifts sit just across the snow, unlocking high-altitude skiing across Arc 2000, Arc 1800 and beyond.
At 1,950m, snow conditions are reassuringly reliable, and when the lifts close, the traffic-free village of Arc 1950, with its bars, cafés and boutiques, is moments away.
Bear Lodge elevates our classic catered chalet service with daily breakfast, afternoon tea and restaurant dining each evening with choice on every course, paired with complimentary wines. Add daily housekeeping and a dedicated concierge team, and everything feels effortless, from your morning cup of tea to relaxed après in the bar. True ski-in/ski-out access, high-altitude slopes, a pool and cinema, plus family suites and adjoining rooms make Bear Lodge a natural choice for families. Our piste-side, award winning, Bear Cubs childcare runs throughout the season, with shared or private nanny options, so little ones are expertly cared for while parents enjoy the mountain.
Alongside the pool complex with sauna, steam room, hot tub and massage suite, there’s a private cinema and small gym. Our in-house ski hire shop ensures pre-booked equipment is fitted on site and stored in heated lockers just steps from the piste and at the end of your stay, you simply leave it behind.
Complimentary ski guiding on your first two mornings, in partnership with ESF, helps you quickly discover the best runs with like-minded guests of similar ability.
Location
A fantastic ski in – ski out location in the very heart of Arc 1950. Situated along the side of the Baptiste Giabiconi blue piste and opposite the Marmottes and Bois de L’Ours chairlifts. The whole resort is completely pedestrianised and car-free, you can literally ski right through the centre.

For those staying in our hotel Bear Lodge, we offer the following:

Thoughtfully designed and supremely comfortable, our 30 bedrooms are arranged across the upper floors of the Lodge, with two distinct aspects to choose from.
Piste View Rooms (front of house)
Overlooking the Baptiste Giabiconi blue run, these rooms place you right at the heart of the action. Watch skiers glide past from your balcony and enjoy a true slopeside atmosphere from first light to last lift.
Mont Blanc Rooms (rear of house)
Facing the quieter side of the building, these rooms look out towards Mont Blanc and the surrounding peaks. Peaceful, scenic and bathed in morning light, they offer a calmer alpine outlook.
Room types include:
Twin Rooms: Comfortable and well-appointed with clever storage and quality beds.
Family Suites: Twin or double beds with a separate bunk den for children.
Adjoining Rooms: Ideal for larger families or groups wanting extra space and flexibility.
Expect reading lights, ample storage, charging points and the small, thoughtful details that make settling in effortless.
Rooms 202 and 302 are suitable for people with reduced mobility (PRM).

Flights are not included, however a complimentary scheduled coach transfer from Geneva Airport to and from resort is included in the price. Strict timings apply.
