Chalet Edelweiss

Ideally located on the ski slopes of the Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine, the Chalet Edelweiss provides you with the perfect ski-in, ski-out accommodation. The chalet is exclusively located in a tranquil settlement, a little higher up the mountain (approximately 500m) from the bustling centre of the Alpe d'Huez, where numerous bars, restaurants and boutiques can be found, as well as a swimming pool, leisure centre, ice rink and cinema.

The Chalet Edelweiss is a short walk from Les Bergers area of Alpe d'Huez, where our ski hire shop is conveniently located and a free shuttle bus runs frequently to the resort centre.

Ski direct from your front door on the gentle green slopes bordering the resort, which are ideal for beginners. More experienced skiers can venture straight out to the lifts at Les Bergers, giving you direct access to the exceptional Alpe d'Huez ski area.

The Chalet

Beautifully furnished, Chalet Edelweiss is decorated in the traditional Savoyarde style, with a large fireplace, wood and stone interior and deep colours giving the rooms a warm feel. There is plenty of space in all of the rooms, with a large open-plan living area with satellite television, which is wonderfully cosy when the fire is roaring.

Chalet Edelweiss is equipped with an American kitchen with all the modern amenities, including hotplates, an oven, microwave, a dishwasher, extractor fan and fridge, plus all crockery and pans, allowing guests to cook and eat as and when they please. The chalet offers guests total comfort and space, sleeping up to 15 people, with multiple en-suite bathrooms and toilets. The chalet also offers its own private balcony, providing panoramic views of the mountains, plus a private sauna in which to unwind.

We include: beds made on arrival, fridges stocked*, bath robes and slippers, mid-week and end of stay cleaning, mid-week towel change, local tourist tax, satellite TV & free WIFI access in the chalet...

*If you choose our contactless catering option, then food and drink are included in the cost. We will supply you with breakfast every day, afternoon tea and snacks, pre-dinner nibbles, plus a three course dinner on six of the seven nights, which also includes unlimited red and white wine and a few beers.
*If you choose our self catering option, food and drink are not included in the chalet price. You order and pay for provisions a few days before the start of your holiday, we will deliver and stock your chalet ready for your arrival.

There are eight bedrooms (six twin bedrooms and two double bedrooms). All of them are equipped with a shower room and toilet. Two of the bathrooms come with a bath tub. The chalet also comes with a sauna and spacious terrace.
