Iso-Syote Ski Holiday Resort
Overview
Fantastic snow conditions and quiet slopes make Iso-Syote, Finland's most southern fell, perfect for beginners and intermediates. The resort is situated 150 kms from the Arctic circle, and the blanket of snow covering Iso-Syote from early to late season is a real attraction for British skiers wanting a ski holiday without the hassle and bustle usually associated with the Alps.
All of the accommodation is at the top of the slopes so if you're an intermediate or above you can ski virtually from your door. When you're not on the slopes, there are plenty of winter activities to enjoy. You can visit Santa, go dog sledding or take in the views while snowshoeing.
Offslope/apres ski
For non-skiers, Finland is a good destination with plenty to do and see, from snowmobile safaris to a reindeer farm, to some very good spa facilities at the hotels in resort. Apres ski is quiet by Alpine standards.
In resort there is an indoor pool, dog sledding, night skiiing, reindeer safari, snowmobiling, snowshoe walking, toboggan run, ice driving and ice fishing.
