Tremblant Ski Holiday Resort
Overview
Tremblant is one of the nearest North American destinations for British skiers with a flight time into Montreal of approximately 7 hours. This makes the resort popular with families as you get North American skiing without the long flights to the west coast. However the ski area at 665 acres of pisted runs is quite small, so if you are after some serious piste bashing the west coast will be worth the extra time spent in the air. The resort offers families endless blue and green runs and a ski school with an excellent reputation. Being situated in Quebec it is French speaking, although in practice everyone speaks English in addition. Lodging options are inexpensive and as the flight is shorter this makes Tremblant a less expensive North American ski experience.
Offslope/apres ski
Wandering through the streets in the evening is one of the pleasures of being in Tremblant. The village is busy and pretty with plenty to do. The après ski scene is surprisingly busy for such a family orientated resort.
