Big White Ski Holiday Resort

Overview

Big White is a purpose built resort and therefore offers a lot of ski-in ski-out accommodation, with an amazing snow record and a reputation for powder skiing. The ski area is 2750 acres so to put that into perspective it is just a little shy of the size of Breckenridge's ski area. For the UK market the resort lends itself perfectly to a two centre holiday with somewhere like Whistler. . Experts will find some seriously good blacks, great bump runs and superb glades waiting to be explored. Big White has plenty of long blues & greens to cruise down & will ideally suit intermediates and families, with some great opportunities to learn how to ski powder on easy slopes and accessible back country. Beginners have a dedicated nursery area and some good long green runs to progress to once their confidence builds. Boarders can rest easy in the knowledge that there are very few flat areas and the lifts are boarder friendly.

Offslope/apres ski

Apres ski revolves around a few good bars with live music on some nights and several restaurants offering a variety of fare. Snowshoe sam's offers live music and a DJ. There is limited off slope activity however Happy Valley does have snowmobiling, tubing, snowshoeing and ice-skating.
