St Christoph Ski Holiday Resort
Overview
St Christoph is nothing more than a small collection of hotels that has formed an exclusive enclave in the heart of the Arlberg ski area. It is the ying to St Anton's yang but affords access to the same ski area via a 4 man chairlift onto the slopes of the Galzig. At 1800 metres altitude the area is very reliable for snow throughout the whole season and well into April to resort level. St Christoph is most famous for the legendary Hospiz Alm restaurant with its beer barrel slide that guests now use to descend to the toilets on rather than taking the stairs.
Beginners will find the area served by some decent slopes and a drag lift in the village, however, the area is not ideal for those wanting to progress to the next level as the blue back into St Christoph is not an easy run.
Advanced and intermediate skiers wanting to be first on the slopes who aren't too fussed about nightlife will love it here.
Offslope/apres ski
Little to do for those looking to party, mainly centred around the few exclusive hotels in the village
