Neustift Ski Holiday Resort
Overview
Neustift is one of three villages on the Stubai-Superski lift pass. It is the closest village to the Stubai glacier and, as do the other villages, has its own dedicated slopes. It is a quiet resort both on and off slopes. The pistes around the village are predominantly red and would suit intermediates wanting un-crowded slopes. There is a nursery slope next to the village. The beautiful Stubai glacier is 20 km away, but easily accessed by the shuttle bus. This has an extensive area of blue and red runs. It also boasts a fantastic 10 km long ungroomed ski route back down to the valley. Although there are few challenging pistes, there are some nice long ones and there is a black with a steep mogul field. The other villages, Fulpmes and Mieders also have slopes immediately around the village itself with Fulpmes having the largest area.
Offslope/apres ski
Off the slopes, all villages have great toboggan runs and in Neustift itself there is a great leisure centre with pools, saunas, and a bowling alley. Restaurants tend to be in the hotels and there are also a small handful of bars and a disco.
