At 7218 feet on the Ötztal mountain Hotel Riml has a bird's-eye view over Obergurgl. The modern interior, mazy corridors and picture windows give the hotel an exclusive feel. The position is ideal for skiing in and out, there are many entry points to the slopes and a handy in house ski shop.

As you enter, the large lobby is decorated in pine and marble and has a cozy fire showcase. You are greeted in the lobby by the friendly local staff. Next door is the rustic dining room and bar, suave a la carte restaurant, and hotel sun terrace which all overlook the valley.

The terrace is a popular spot for skiers at lunch, serving comfort food, local dishes and American diner-style food (paid locally). There is also an indoor golf putting course and golf simulator – to keep that swing in check.

You can admire the snowy mountains from the adult-only rooftop spa with sauna, steam room and fitness room. The infinity pool on the mountainside is a must after a day on the slopes.

Bedrooms are modern, comfortable and have pine décor. Some have balconies – you can’t get enough of the cinematic setting.

The Hotel Riml is an adults only hotel for ages 14+ years.

Sued Austrian twins are around 25m² and sleep up to three using the single sofa bed in the lounge area. These rooms have a shower and south facing balcony.

Talblick Austrian twins are around 28m². These rooms have a bath and are north facing. The single sofa bed in the lounge area can sleep a third guest.

Schermerkar Austrian twins offer the most space at 50m². These rooms have a bath and shower and an eats facing balcony. These rooms are suitable for up to four guests using the double sofa bed.

Single Sued rooms are around 20m² and have a shower, and south facing balcony.

25m² ‘Süd’ rooms sleep 2-3 with Austrian twin beds, lounge area with single sofa bed, shower and south-facing balcony

28m² ‘Talblick’ rooms sleep 2-3 with Austrian twin beds, lounge area with single sofa bed, bath and are north-facing

50m² ‘Schermerkar’ rooms sleep 2-4 with Austrian twin beds, lounge area with double sofa bed, bath, shower and east-facing balcony

19m² ‘Single Süd’ have shower, lounge area and south-facing balcony and are available with no supplement

All rooms have telephone, cable TV, radio, safe, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and free Wi-Fi

Austrian twin beds are one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated

With convenient skiing to the door, this hotel is directly on the slopes and is perfect place for a ski holiday.
