Alta Badia is a fabulous ski domain in the Dolomites of northern Italy, located in the upper part of the Val Badia. The ski terrain links into the famous Sella Rhonda providing one of the world’s largest ski area. The villages within Alta Badia include Corvara, Colfosco, La Villa, San Cassiano, Badia and La Val.
Corvara and Colfosco are two of the most sought after ski holiday villages in this region, making the Hotel Col Alto the perfect choice of accommodation for a ski holiday in the area!

Hotel Col Alto
The Hotel Col Alto has been recently refurbished hotel and offers 4-star amenities. The hotel offers a unique experience and is well-known for its warm hospitality and family traditions, as well as pleasant spacious guest bedrooms and public areas. The hotel has a hundred bedrooms in total, all of which are beautifully decorated in subtle, calming colours and feature a bath or shower, a telephone, a safe, satellite TV, a radio, a hairdryer and internet connection.
The hotel also offers you the option to upgrade you room to a large superior room, a Junior Suite Martagon or one of the outstanding Alpine family suites.
The larger superior rooms offer added space and comfort. They accommodate up to 3 people and are the ideal choice of room for couples and families. The Junior Suite Martagon offers even more space and has a living area, as well as a separate bath and shower.
Overall, the Hotel Col Alto provides excellent service and amazing Italian cuisine (the regional specialities are delicious!). The meals offered by the Hotel Col Alto include: A buffet breakfast with a hot option and 4-course evening meal with choices (just what you need to warm up after being out in the snow!), a weekly Tyrolean evening, Christmas and New Year gala dinners. And, if you like a glass or two of wine after a day on the slopes, you’ll love the fact that the meals at Hotel Col Alto are supported by a well-stocked wine cellar featuring prized regional wines. Perfect!
One of the noticeable characteristics of the hotel is the luxury spa and wellness centre. Not only is it a beautiful, calming space to relax in after an adrenaline-filled day skiing, the spa provides some of the best spa treatments and services in the resort.
What’s more, the Hotel Col Alto is located close to the ski lifts and is therefore a pleasant, and practical, choice of ski holiday accommodation. In fact, the ski lifts are located only 400 metres away and there is also the hotel minibus service on hand to drop you off at the lifts! The Hotel Col Alto is located at the end of the Col Alto slope and can also be reached directly with skis.
