Gstaad Ski Holiday Resort

Overview

Gstaad Saanenland is located in the Bernese Oberland, on the border between the German and French speaking parts of Switzerland.

The region is made up of nine villages with Gstaad at it's centre, and attracts visitors all year round with it`s superb Alpine setting and a wealth of leisure activities. The car free resort of Gstaad is surrounded by mountains on three sides, but still enjoys a spacious and sunny setting at 1050 metres. The main street is lined with cafes, Stublis, hotels, galleries and smart shops, and for non skiers there are numerous facilities, including fitness centre, sport centre, walking paths, curling, skating and tobogganing.

Offslope/apres ski

The Olden bar, Chesery Bar Stockl Bar, and Club 95 are some of the apres ski attractions, and with all the facilities for other family activities Gstaad is a great destination for after skiing fun.

Overview

An excellent destination for mixed ability groups with more terrain to suit intermediates, although Gstaad does offer a huge amount of off piste for those who want it.
