Overview

The Rusutsu Resort is a large hotel in a ski-in/ski-out location at the base of West Mountain. Access to East Mountain and Mt Isola is via the gondola. The hotel has a North and a South wing – we feature rooms only in the North Wing, where the standard rooms have one, two, or three single beds, a small sitting area and a small balcony. The bathrooms are good quality, but quite small by Western hotel standards. This is a large family-friendly resort with lots of facilities, including an indoor pool with waterslide, men’s and ladies Onsens, a good choice of restaurants and bars, a range of shops, and a unique fairground carousel. We offer rooms on a Bed & Breakfast or Half-Board package – and there is a choice of Western or Japanese cuisine. Note that there are NO non-smoking rooms available.
