Easter Ski 2023

Easter is when the smart people ski and no it’s not too late either as long as you aim high. The days are longer and sunnier so for those with children and beginners it tends to be a lot more forgiving. Many resorts, including Val d'Isere, will not close until the May bank holiday. Yes that is late but at Snowfinders we have skied back into resort on this day in Tignes, Val Thorens, Saas Fee, and Zermatt amongst others. If you want snow at resort level then generally head for resorts at 1800m and above. If you are on more of a budget then stay in a lower resort but with access to the higher slopes. For instance Villaroger in the Les Arcs ski domain sits at a lowly 1200m but has lift access to 3226m at the peak of the Aiguille Rouge. Many resorts will offer discounted lift tickets if it is the week after Easter and often equipment hire will be cheaper too. As it is towards the end of season it is also an ideal time to buy equipment and clothing in the sales too.
